The financial modeling program is a good preparation course for excel, financial modeling beginners. I learned some useful excel and financial modeling skills outside of work.

I had a great and seamless experience with my reviewer. Our first contact established a credible background and provided a good base for our relationship and future conversations. When speaking on the phone and over email, I could tell he was interested in helping me and cared about guiding me to a place where I was comfortable and confident. Not only was he very knowledgeable when reviewing my resume, but he also took every opportunity to share his knowledge about the professional world and help me learn. I really liked the Wall Street Oasis company databases, as they really helped me in interviews. I think the interface could be easier to use. For example, searching company questions, and the forum as well, as it is sometimes hard to find things.

3) Instructor gave advice on how to approach interviews and what you need to be knowledgable.
4) Translated the concepts into the model to illustrate what was being taught.

Very detailed, thorough and fun learning. The course has improved my excel skills tremendously. Master this course and you have a solid foundation to more complex financial modelling courses.

I've really come to enjoy the community you have built at WSO. I wish I had discovered you all sooner! I didn't come across the site until the depths of the pandemic, but since I have, I've upped my "networking" and picked up countless other tips shared by generous members of the community. I only hope I can someday be in a position to contribute something meaningful to the life or career of a more youthful WSO participant.
