There is great education and conversation on the site. I think there are a few opportunities with regards to consulting in Bulge Banks, but all in all, I would never complain; because I think WSO serves many people who would not have access to this information any other way. Are the finance guys a little extra on the boards maybe, but that's what makes the whole site entertaining. Some of the training sites cost is really high for my taste, but you've got to invest in yourself.

Wall Street Oasis is my favorite site on the internet and finding WSO was one of the best things that ever happened to me. It’s a one stop shop for everything related to a career in the financial industry. Job information, advice from peers, job postings, resume writing, networking….this site has it all. Wall St. Oasis is hands down the best community for those in finance. I love browsing the user generated content and it always serves as a hive of knowledge. I would rate 10/10. The only reason for my lack of recent involvement is due to being busy at work.

With courses like this one, WSO bridges all the stuff you might learn (or not) in a classroom about M&A to real world applications. Great course.

Excellent resource for all things finance

WallStreetOasis is hands down the best resource for candid, thoughtful, real time read on finance recruiting, interviewing and hiring. I’m a career banker (now MD) and found the transparency refreshing.

Two very valuable offerings have been comp transparency and culture reads. Large organizations/management chains etc can become detached from the market. WSO always gave me the confidence when pushing for a promotion, comp increase or moving banks.

Very helpful- but parts were missing and I feel the fundamentals could be taught without needing the models, so to have a more basic understanding of the concepts the numbers are describing and why they’re important for a model.
