The WSO resume review was incredibly helpful and I can now apply to any investment banking role with the confidence that my resume will get noticed and stand out. The reviewer was able to help me convey so much with bullet points that are concise, meaningful, and show the actions/results of my work in a way that I had previously struggled with. More than that, I'll be able to use the advice she gave me in between resume drafts and apply it in the future as I gain more experience. Really thankful and appreciative for all your help!

I will definitely be signing up for the WSO mentors, but would probably want to prepare a little more (likely from the interview guide) before then to maximize the benefit of that service.

I believe overall the session was very helpful. If I had to point something maybe is that the communication between me and my mentor when scheduling a session to go over my resume it took some time because of travel arrangements and that has put me a little behind but overall it was helpful having an actual conversation via Teams rather than just emailing

I had a great session with him. He provided me with a lot of advice on how to better craft my interview responses and was super helpful in giving me relevant reading materials. We made a great connection and will definitely keep in touch in the future.

Feel like my resume needed far more work in terms of rewriting. Structure and format wise it was fine but I anticipated more than just moving words and sentence around. I was hope to get help with showing commercial impact and did not really get that.

I'm a veteran member of the WSO community (joined the forum in 2010) and have been active in various forms since then. I was previously a resume reviewer as well. WSO was integral in launching my career in the finance/consulting space, and even though I have since exited the industry, it continues to remain a fun place to hang out. 1 star off not for the fault of WSO so much as the population that makes up this industry; it is not always the most socio-politically correct and tends to use dark humor. This doesn't bother me at all, but I could see how it is not the most welcoming to all folks. Patrick (the CEO) and Andy (the COO) have steered this ship for over a decade and continue to remain engaged with the community, which is awesome.

WSO was a huge help to me when i was recruiting for my summer analyst position. It gave info on the industry, various firms, and the lifestyle which I couldn’t find anywhere else on the internet.

The mentor was extremely helpful in that he offered very practical advice and had a very relevant experience. Helpful resume review as well.
