How do restructuring Investment Banking shops stack up?
There's a lot of discussion on how good various restructuring IB shops are in terms of culture and exits, but not much in terms of comp. I get that it isn't a life or death factor but I'm interested in how they stack up - as I'll be joining a Top MM in restructuring FT next year, I'm wondering what other firms are paying.
85 base is standard
Good to know - are middle bucket bonuses of around 60K standard as well?
Are you doing Restructuring at a bank with a balance sheet? Otherwise there really isn't any firm that would qualify for top MM in restructuring lol. There's only like 10 restructuring firms even
Perhaps he means HL or something? that's essentially a MM bank with the exception of the RX practice.
Yeah HL type firm - it's not really an EB so didn't want to call it that.
hmm
Have a friend at PJT, all in for first year RSSG analysts was ~200k
I've heard EVR pays more than PJT so they're doing above 200K? Insane
Evercore top bucket and pjt were the same this year, no buckets at pjt
Anyone know if rx comp is in line with m&a at the associate level?
