ignore what I said I didn’t read the whole email
Can anyone confirm??
Screenshot of the email is on litquidity.
It literally says in the succeeding sentences that total compensation will likely rise given firm performance.
This doesn’t really paint the full picture, email also mentioned that median comp would be higher.
Are bonuses still expected to be standard (median 60% according to wso database)?
Depends on group and individual performance (obvi). Bonus expectations are tricky because many firms look at "total compensation" versus "it was 100% base before the raise so now it will also be 100% of the new base as well"... The median figures on WSO database are bad numbers, I suspect potentially due to stub amounts.
the numbers are also bad for the amount of people that lie
Lol "inflation is transitory"
Daddy powell is a fraud he knows it isn't but just not trying to scare people
Is this now top of street? Figure it puts some pressure on EBs who like to pay absolute top of market, and also an interesting move by Blair- they could’ve easily been at the market paying 100k but are clearly trying to make a statement coming out this high.
Ardea is the only one that pays more (and they were paying 125k before the recent increase in street average).
Yup, definitely some of those specialty boutiques that I know pay crazy, but just in terms of the names discussed a lot on this site in the BB/EB/MM market, I think Blair is the top now?
I believe Q is the same
So top 3 for base now are Blair (110), Baird (110), and Rothschild (105)?
As of now, yes
Did these three banks used to pay top of market? Pretty sure Blair was 85 before which is in line with BBs and below EBs.
Rothschild was 85. Baird has profit sharing for As+
Edit: Rothschild was also below street for London (apparently a prestige discount), but idk about NYC.
Macquarie is also 105k for A1
Barclays 105 as well
barclays is 100 for a1
