Thoughts prior to pursuing my undergraduate studies

In August, I will begin my studies at The Stockholm School of Economics, studying Business and Economics in Sweden. I am half British and half Swedish, and eventough some of the British target schools intrigue me, I am born and raised in Sweden, as such SSE felt like the natural choice. However, I would like to get some guidance regarding this choice; Firstly, how much do I cripple my chances of breaking into IB by going to SSE instead of a target school in the UK or the rest of Europe? Can I not just do my undergrad at SSE and then maybe think about doing my Master in Europe if I don’t break in after completing my Bachelor? Or is it better to do my undergrad at one of the target schools instead, even tough my education in Sweden is free, which means I save a lot of money by not paying tuition? Furthermore, regardless of where I pursue my undergraduate studies, what are some things I should focus on my freshman year? Except for joining clubs and trying to get a SW offer, what should I pursue as far as EC go? Further recommendations are much appreciated, thanks in advance:)
