Follow-Up Etiquette, That Serious?
Whenever reaching out to new people via email I usually send a follow up email 24 after the original email sent. But in this situation I accidentally sent one same day (I usually have a follow-up email scheduled to send following 24 hours but miss-clicked and scheduled it same day and didn’t double check).
Analyst reached out to schedule a time to chat but also said its “inappropriate to follow-up same day.” I feel really ashamed and disappointed that I made a simple mistake like that.
Is follow-up etiquettes that serious?
If it's a cold email, you better wait a week to follow up.
Unless it is an urgent request and you're on the same team, one day is too quick, same day is crazy.
Don’t have follow up emails scheduled that’s retarded. What if they respond right before and you forget to cancel
