I think WSO helped me years ago.
I think WSO helped me years ago in college to get a job in high finance. There was no other source I could get information from at the time.
WSO also helped shaped my initial experience of what it was going to be like as an analyst at a bank as well as giving me the insight of other roles besides M&A banks have to offer.

PE Bootcamp
Very knowledgable and well-presenting instructor. I would recommend this bootcamp to others interested in Private Equity.

WSO is a great resource for pursuing finance as a career
WSO is a great site for any one pursuing a finance degree. I find the comments to be generally accurate (although the BO hate is overdone). The resource available for learning to model, thinking through career options and mentoring are great. I counsel all grads I mentor to check it out
Great crash course into history of PE and how PE works.Modeling practice and cases were extremely helpful.

Great product - simple and straightforward. Cut to the chase so that I got exactly what I needed for the interview and could practice. The results speak for themselves - I had never done a full LBO model previously but had to do one for my interview and ended up getting the job based primarily on the WSO PE interview course. Don't sell yourself short - spend a little bit of money on a course that could change the trajectory of your career.

I used to consider myself to be pretty good at Excel
Working for 5 years in finance and strategy, I used to consider myself to be pretty good at Excel. But what Zach the instructor and the WSO team (including the monkey) have put together makes me look like an amateur. My target since completing this course is to get a stage where I can model without using the mouse (not yet there but getting there). I love the fact that they have put together excel sheets on which you can practice the shortcuts you learn. Started out at 3-4 mins on my first and ended taking less than 40 secs.
I've done Excel courses before like this but with no practice, so only little of what I learned actually stuck. Practice makes perfect so I'm gonna head back to that :D

I just wrapped up my work with him, and he was so helpful
I just wrapped up my work with him, and he was so helpful. He was really responsive and really understood what I was trying to convey in my resume about my past work experiences. He did a good job synthesizing information and helping me package my resume in a succinct and professional. I really valued that he came from both a banking and corp dev background so he could be honest with me about what employers will be looking for.
