How hard are oncycle interviews?
For those that participated in last year oncycle, how much do they actually expect you to know? What are the interviews like for modeling tests, technicals, etc. Lots of posts here talk about how interviewers grill you on deal experience, but how does that make sense for recent grads with essentially none? Have oncycle interviews gotten easier/shorter?
Bump
Honestly they’re not that difficult looking back, though lack of experience is what makes it difficult… plus they’re extremely competitive
Could you elaborate ? Lack of deal experience or just not enough time to prep?
Yeah exactly. It’s just hard to “talk the talk” and assert a view with confidence given lack of real experience.
