Banking Exits - CS Degree or PE

I'm going into my second year at an EB in NY. I honestly enjoy the work - particularly when it's actual technical analysis (rare) and not just pretty marketing slides. However, the more I think about my long-term career, the less I see myself being satisfied in the realm of high finance. EBITDA margin optimization doesn't really excite me. I'm considering trying to get a degree in CS but I feel like doing so would make the time spent in IB pointless. I'm also considering making a move for the buyside (haven't recruited at all yet) but would only do it for a few years since I don't really see myself spending a career investing. Is it worth restarting from the bottom in CS even though I'm not even sure it's for me? Or should I just hustle for ~4 more years in IB / PE and then move to a startup / corporate role? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

No I don’t recommend it; work one more year and go to a midscale / upper scale startup in corp dev, VC, or product managment. I don’t think a CS degree or Quant work would help, especially when it’s easier to go downmarket by teaching yourself to code.
