Recently Admitted into Masters in Accounting Program - Thoughts?

Hi everyone. To start, I've loved creating and running businesses my whole life, whether its a summer basketball camp or a content creation agency. I have worked internships in finance and operations at corporations and realized that I do not want to work at a large company in the long run (preferably never but I understand there are pros to it). While I don't know what industry suits me the best, I have consistently heard that "accounting is the language of business". Maybe real estate could be of interest.

I just was admitted into my university's Masters in Accounting Program, one of the best in the country. I have no intention of working as an accountant but hope that those skills learned will transpire to running my own company.

I would appreciate some insight on your thoughts on getting my CPA but not working as an accountant, and maybe some entrepreneurial industries I should consider.

Thx
