Best Banks in terms of Culture in Italy

Just curious to know if the culture at BBs/EBs in Milan has changed as earlier it was quite rough (throwing paper on your face, swearing, etc.). Are people friendly now? Which bank has the best culture? Working hours do not matter much in this case as more or less they are the same across the banks.

Actually, it was Rothschild people who used to throw paper at you. Seems like it has changed now as you are saying they have a very good culture

I was being ironic dawg. A colleague of a buddy of mine committed suicide during his internship at Rothschild Milan

None, apart from lower tier banks such as Intesa/UCI

Laz/Roth/Mediobanca/Vitale absolute sweatshops with shit culture, American BBs and other BBs also work longer hours than in London in general

You are better off doing consulting in Italy

It is the culture (the people you work with) that matters to me the most. I don't give a damn about hours becoz when you commit to investment banking you commit to working long hours so that's the least relevant factor for me.

I'd appreciate it if you could shed some light on the people in those banks
