Too late unfortunately as a rising junior, as all of the funds have already closed off processes / almost done filling class for SA 2025. Best thing to do is recruit for a MM HF full time if you have a good IB SA, but if not, then just recruit for HF after a few years on the sell side

Make good pitches, get into VIC+other investing communities to build network, utilize that plus alums, and reach out to smaller (<1b) SMs if ur dead set on working at an HF

If it is specifically equities... have 3 stock pitches locked and loaded. Bring a stack of 50 slides / thumb drive of your stock pitches. Ask your interviewer to pick which type of pitch they want (all 3 should be different styles to display your versatility).

The revenue / model / valuation builds should all be done. I wasn't polished accounting wise as a junior prior to my Jr year internship to do so. But I was for my senior year. Spend whatever money on the WSO bootcamp / model building course to get your pitches on that level and eloquently walk thru the interviewer through your logic.
