What should sophomores be doing this summer?
I’m an economics major going into sophomore year at a non target and I have a remote wealth management internship this summer but it’s pretty low commitment and kind of BS. Basically cold calling and looking for referrals for an hour a day but at least I have something on my resume.
So now what do I do with the rest of my time? Other than training (student athlete), and learning some technical stuff (excel and SQL, I’m an IT minor) and reading WSJ every day?
I feel like I’m in an ok starting point but still a little bit unsure of what to do to get ready for recruiting this year as well as what I actually want to have a career in. I’m not sure if IB is right for me but it seems like that’s what most people go to straight away.
Any advice for people feeling a little lost at this stage would be great. Thanks!
