BlackRock Alternatives - Private Debt Division

Hi everyone,

I am currently looking for opportunities on the private side of the market.

Straight to the question, I would like to know if the BlackRock Private Debt team makes some direct investments or would it just be FoF or Co-investment focused group like Private Equity Partners?

I will be applying for the 2025 SA program, but not sure if BlackRock's alternative group make direct investment except for the Decarbonization Partners, which I believe is a team that is based in Singapore since the division is co-established with Temasek

For those who have any insights into it, please share your thoughts below!

Moreover, any general perceptions about BLK would be much appreciated as well.

Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

appreicate your comment!

Yeah I heard that I don't get to choose the specific team and HR will simply match me with the seemingly suitable team

anyways, I'm highly interested in the field of Private Credit and the fact that BLK does have direct lending deals makes me feel a lot more assured
