Interview
Went through 2 rounds and then superday. First round was to email recruiter a stock pitch. Second round we were given a company, then told to write investment recommendation upon it. Superday was 3 back-to-back interviews over camera.
Interview Questions
Some questions were normal, some questions were extremely difficult. Normal questions included tell me about yourself, but then immediately went over to my resume. I listed a stock on my resume, so they started to grill the pitch. Harder questions: Company we wrote a recommendation about was a tax company around the time the new tax laws came out. Got asked very detailed questions about the tax code laws as if I had read the whole thing, which really threw me off guard. "Ex. What section of the new tax code will impact big businesses the hardest."

Easier question: How would you value a tech startup (included VC on resume).

Interview
I was asked to write a stock pitch for a company of my choice, and then they interviewed me for the position over the phone.
Interview Questions
I think what was hardest was the amount of work that was given to me for the stock pitch. It was extremely time consuming. The interview was many technicals that I didn't expect, including many questions about valuation and accounting. They also grilled me about the company that I had pitched, hitting me with many curveballs that I had not expected. Overall, the entire interview lasted about an hour, with 3 research analysts interviewing me. It was very challenging, which was not unexpected, to say the least.

Interview
Was asked to submit a one page write up with an investment thesis and valuation. Then, a one on one phone interview with an analyst with three others listening in. Resume questions, why Scopia, where else are you applying, then talked about the company I submitted and another company listed on my resume.
Interview Questions
Asked about margins from different products and divisions, catalysts and growth drivers, upside / downside potential, competition. It was harder because I picked companies that he was responsible for covering.
