Interview
I reached out to an alum I met while on a school trip. He forwarded my resume and then I was contacted by the head analyst. He then said someone else was taking over as the head analyst and my interview got pushed back. I had a 30 minute phone call that was pretty much all behavioral questions. Did not really seem interested in previous real estate experience.
Interview Questions
Almost every question was behavioral. The interviewer was the head analyst and was just given the title so I do not think she has interviewed many other people before. Basic questions were asked such as "describe a time you worked on a team" "give me your strengths and weaknesses" "tell me about a time that you failed". There were also some basic background questions such as "walk me through your resume'. She did not seem focused on my previous experience but really intent on sticking to behavioral questions as if she was reading from a script.
