Interview
I applied online as a Business Analyst Intern at United Technologies. The interview process had two components, phone interview and a one on one interview with my direct supervisor. I was asked basic fit questions for the phone interview, including my background and why I'd be a good fit for the position. During the one on one, I had another behavioral interview with the hiring manager. There was one technical question involving simple excel formulas.
Interview Questions
During the phone interview, the recruiter asked to know about me and then to go through my resume. She wanted an expansion for every resume point and placed an emphasis on my research and experience working with data sets. Then during the one on one interview process, I was asked to explain my excel knowledge, as well my maneuverability in STATA. I was asked about my Econometric Project and asked about the data gathering and regression modeling process. During the interview I discussed my previous research methods.
