Know of them indirectly. Very growth oriented shop with a focus on quality. Their strategies have performed very well historically but because of the high growth focus got killed during the GFC. That said their investment team is very high quality.

Have several strategies globally. US mandate, global mandate, EM mandate only. I think most of their money is in separate accounts but they do have LP structure funds and they sub advise on a few mutual funds. I think the MFs are distributes by touchstone so you should be able to see portfolio holdings and performance.

Don’t know anything about what it’s like to work there. I would think if you are in the industry, you would want to exit to there if you wanted to build a long term career as a public markets investor. Not find exit ops from there. But if they have an analyst program for juniors or pre MBA positions it would be a good place to work.

Never worked there, but from the outside-in, a pretty prestigious investment shop with an acute focus on research. Would classify them as the "nerd in the room."

I know they've had really good performance generally but no other information. Website is pretty informative, as well.

I am kinda confused what the difference is between an investment management company and a hedge fund. Isn't hedge fund the same thing as an investment management company?
