Is anyone familiar with BDC (Business Development Canada)?

I was wondering if anyone here knew anything about what the hours/comp/deals or any info at all about what the Business Development Bank of Canada is like?
It seems to be like a half government half private venture capital firm that mostly specialized on Greentech and other "morally good" small and medium-sized businesses.
Anyone have any info?

BDC IT Venture Fund used to be the largest tech VC fund in Canada (not sure where they stand now). Some decent names in the portfolio - Influitive, Hopper, TouchBistro etc.

Within BDC Capital itself, there are a shit ton of funds doing everything from IP lending to growth across the full cap stack. The mandate is basically support Canadian businesses and innovation, not "morally good" stuff.

Yeah true, I skimmed a lot of it and saw a lot of green tech so I assumed it was like mostly going to be green tech, innovative healthcare tech, etc.

Any idea what comp is like? It’s technically a gov entity but crown corps don’t seem to publish salaries like the feds, provinces and cities do.
