Growth Equity - Questions and Advice Needed

I received an inbound from a GE fund in a MCOL area that is exclusively focused on healthcare investing. I currently work in Healthcare Corp Dev at an acquisitive public company focusing 100% of my time on strategic M&A deals.

Can anyone provide their experience working in growth equity in general or at a healthcare focused GE fund? I'm trying to familiarize myself with the role, investing style, and what my day-to-day would like and how it differs from what I'm doing now. Would really appreciate any & all thoughts on the above. Also, can any elaborate on the modeling growth equity firms do? If they are providing growth capital I would assume they aren't doing LBOs? I know there is a modeling test as part of the interview process so would appreciate any feedback there too.

Thanks everyone
