Reclaiming creativity at a finance/business college

Been tuning in to a lot of smart people recently (founders, top scientists etc) and I’ve noticed something painstakingly obvious - they are all trying to be creative and build new things.

Most students at top schools get carried away with recruiting rather than studying or building things. Of course this is a personal choice, but I feel it has numbed the creativity of college.

How do people go about staying creative and coming up with new ideas when a lot of the environment is so career driven?
