S+T Internship UK: Hilfe hilfe
Long time lurker, first time poster. Deadline for 2010 internships is fast apporoaching, and my CV isn't top notch. Help would be greatly appreciated!
I've got a couple of concerns:
1.) Obviously, trading. Will they completely and utterly burn me alive with technical questions from hell, or will they simply think I'm a major clown and throw me in the waste bin immediately? Problem is, I don't really want to put it under "Interests" or whatever because it'd imply it was just a hobby for shits and giggles - which is true to a certain extent, but it was also my only source of income and I was sat glued to my computer for 9 hours a day for 6 months.
2.) The aptitude test. Again, will it make me look like a clown? The way I reason is: they want candidates with proven logical/analytical/what-have-you abilities, so what better way to demonstrate that than to include your score on a compulsory (for all males aged 18), normally distributed aptitude test measuring logical, verbal, spatial and theoretical ability? Now, obviously they don't know the last bit, but is it worth trying to include it? Or should I remove it completely?

Thanks!
Deadline? Do you mean the start of applications cuz most deadlines are december.
Both! Mostly the start of applications obviously, but the deadline isn't all that far away either.
Looks good. Deadlines are irrelevant as many firms will recruit on a rolling basis.
Expand the education section a bit since you have abundant space on the CV. I think the trader "self employed" belongs under interests/activities not work experience but fair play to you if you don't have much other work experience to elaborate on.
Cheers mate!
Anything else? Anyone?

I think you could still expand the education section a bit. Elaborate further on Tibble Gym. Perhaps a bullet point on your ECTS credits in some subjects e.g. maths
