Should I put non-relevant work experience on LinkedIn or does it look bad?
I've worked in retail at places like Dollar Tree as a cashier. I'm obviously not going to put this on my resume and I have good finance internship experience so I'm not trying to pad anything. But I see other people on LinkedIn are adding these non-relevant positions such as retail cashier under Experiences on LinkedIn.
Should I do this too? Does it look bad or should I only put finance experiences on LinkedIn. I'm trying to get into high finance if that matters.
Hi ngo.tuekha21, any of these discussions helpful:

I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.
I wouldn't. On LinkedIn, there are a couple experiences I am not putting because they were either irrelevant or too short to count for anything. I only put my main roles, and during background check, I disclose everything (of course with the required docs, etc.).
