Just talk about the dislocation in the markets and the opportunities that it has created to pick up class A assets at bargain cap rates. RE is an attractive asset class and many people enjoy the brick and mortar aspect of being able to "touch the dirt" of the assets that they own. This differs from other types of buyside jobs where you are holding securities or interests in operating companies.

REPE often requires a great deal of travel and on site due diligence so this is one aspect that you should focus on during your interviews. You should also convey your general interest in RE and your desire to specialize in that asset class but also your willingness/desire to learn about the symbiotic relationship between operating businesses and their underlying RE platforms. PM if you have any specific questions. Good luck
