European Invasion

I thought I'll throw this out there,

Have you noticed how you will find a lot of Americans in London PE ( and a few in HK), but there are almost NO Europeans in US PE, be it in NY, Boston or SF.

Have you even come accross europeans at a US PE shop?

 

Hypothesis: i think normally europeans just want to stay in the US for 2/3 years, get the experience and then come back home (family/higher standard of looking / better looking girls etc etc) and to break in PE, you'd need to stick it out in the country for few years, build network etc.
