Changing Bank
How likely is it that your team will find out you are applying for positions at other banks, in London, considering specific nationality (French/Italian)?

Career Resources
I'd say if your firm does find out, it'll almost certainly be because of something you did, not anyone else.
What I mean is that you have a notification show up on your phone giving it away while a VP is standing over your shoulder, or you're seen speaking with a recruiter on the phone, or go for 5 "dentist" appointments in a month, that kind of thing. But the recruiters you speak to or the banks you speak to will almost certainly not tip off your bank - that would be super unprofessional. I mean you can always get unlucky (you happen to interview with VP X at this new place, who happens to best best buddies with your current VP and they chat about it over beers - even then it would be quite a nasty move and I don't think likely).
So just be careful.
thanks
