Entry as an Associate in IB

Hi,
I am an international MS Finance (non target school) student in my first year. I have 5 years of experience in JPM's middle office IB team in India. As I am applying for internships, all the positions require an MBA for an Associate. What is the best way to enter into the IB industry?

I’m curious as to why people from India think an MFin is an entry to IB - is that a typical route in India? I get tons of international folks doing MFins emailing me about breaking into IB despite me never have seen MFins with no prior IB experience get hired into IB and it’s not a regular stream
