Interested in quant, but also fundamental / equity research? Unless I’m mistaken those are two completely different things. Also BAM has a fundamental internship but MLP does not, although both have grad programs.

SIG equity research is either sellside research (SIG sucks at this) or the supporting news flow research for their quant traders (not real ER). The interview process for SIG ER is similar to their quant trading interviews (probability/EV games).

I've never seen BAM hire undergrads consistently. I've seen MBA internships for fundamental research and the odd listing in some random office for an intern (Singapore for eg).

MLP grad scheme opens in the summer, usually towards the second half of people's summer internships.
