Hey guys,
I've been a member of this site for a couple of months now and it has been quite a nice place to hang around the net; nice articles posted regularly, cool NSFW videos and very interesting members. Now I have two suggestions for this website, they are not really related to each other but I personally think they should be integrated in WSO.
Most read/liked books by WSO members
In each NSFW episode Midas and Eddie give out recommended books to read. I think it would be very beneficial for members to have a "most liked by members" list of books, where members could vote for a specific book they read or add a new book that they liked. A small description of the book should be below the picture and title. Click on the book and it takes you to Amazon.com or whoever you want to have a sale's agreement with. This would be beneficial for all members that are looking for good finance books, we all know how annoying it when you buy a 50 dollar/euro book and its utter crap or way too technical and boring.
Mobile phone compatible website
I tried to connect to wso with my BB and my iphone and its a true pain in the ass. The fonts are too small and on the blackberry the website barely loads due to all the scripts on the menu and right bar of the website. A phone-compatible version of the website would be very beneficial for all the monkey's on the move. Additionally, it would be quite beneficial for users that have a facebook app installed in their phone as when you click on new posts on the wso facebook profile, it takes you to the full website which leads to my previous comment.

Just wanted to throw it out there to whoever is concerned that the site works fine on my phone (Droid X). I've never tried to post, but I have no problem scrolling and reading.
For android phones and the iphone it should be fine as you have a "tilt screen" function for reading articles and its quite easy too zoom it or out in text zones but it is sometimes a bit long to load pages, especially if you dont have 3g. Reading posts on my blackberry is a nightmare, i just dont do it anymore.
@cybernick : I know these recommendations require a lot of modifications to the website, coding and time but since this website is one of the biggest online communities in finance I think a phone compatible version of the website should be included. As for the book recommendations, if it takes too much time to create an interactive section then there is always the alternative of creating a good old post... but it would miss its primary function of being dynamic, as good new books are being published constantly.
