Alum wants to meet. What do I wear!?

he wants to grab coffee, lunchtime. should i play it safe and go all out. fitted suit/tie w/portfolio? his email was brief but it sounds more casual than a regular "interview"...stick to dress shirt and slacks no suit/tie?

how bout if they want to get dinner?

WHO PAYS in BOTH situations? im more than happy to, but would that be too obvious for brown nosing? go dutch? ps thanks to acehigh for his prior post on this

one is JPM other is GS if that matters...

since it's lunch he'll be in his work clothes, which would be shirt and slacks/dress pants. Wear at least that, or full suit. Honestly it shouldn't make too much of a difference.

He should be offering to pay since he makes $ and you're a student. Just be cool about it, maybe offer to pay yourself.
