Did ER SA this past summer, keep in mind it was fully virtual. I’d say anywhere between 40-55ish. There were a couple weeks where I was basically doing nothing because weren’t too many deliverables but other weeks where I put in about 55-60. Wasn’t mandated to put in that much, just felt it was needed to keep train of thought and get stuff out at good speed. I’d imagine in a normal summer there is def enough work for 50-60 in a coverage group.

Worked at BB this past summer (also fully virtual). Typical day was 7am - 8:30pm. I'd usually log off for a bit and grab a bite then hop on again around 10:30 for around another hour or two. During earnings, I had a 7am - 11pm once or twice with limited weekend work. Not bad at all compared to my banking friends. Your hours will be group dependent through, as I knew of other interns who would be working much later than I did.

Can I DM you? I recently accepted an SA role at a BB and would love to hear a little bit about your experience so I can make sure I hit the ground running.

My team had an intern over the summer. Their hours were ~7:30-7 (give or take an hour) M-Th and 7:30-5:30 on Friday. Pretty much no weekend work and during earnings, they were working maybe an hour longer than normal but not doing anything later. For reference, this intern received a full-time return offer and was very well regarded amongst intern class.
