Networking Journey and Results

As I am starting my networking journey as an undergrad, I am very curious of everybody else's networking journey and what came out of it in the end (or till this day)?

I’ve had at least 30 calls in the last three weeks recruiting for sophomore summer, shits hard man. Lots of bounce backs, lots of people don’t follow up, but I’ve built a few solid connections that will get my resume through the door.

Follow up email after the meeting or after a week of them not responding is crucial - just as important as the conversation. Have your goals and targets in mind of who you want to talk to and why while also staying diligent. I’ve found success (talking to MDs, head recruiters, & potential mentors I’ll still reach out to) because I’ve just reached out to so many, in reality it’s a numbers game with targets, you just have to find those people that will support you.
