internship? Disney CSBD or Strategy& Deals team to break into MBB
Was wondering which internship was more prestigious and had a better chance into breaking into MBB or a great PE firm

Both of these are dope positions and I think either one sets you up well for MBB recruiting. Honestly, maybe the best way to go about your decision is to think in the event you can't get an MBB offer, which one would you prefer to work at full-time.
If you're optimizing for MBB and PE, S& Deals zero doubt
S& deals is a solid group. cheers mate
Kinda disagree with above, providing you would actually want to do the Disney job full-time. Most people coming into MBB FT seem to do non-consulting internships rather than consulting at a lower tier; I guess it’s easier to justify ‘and then I decided consulting was for me’ than ‘I’ve already heavily recruited once and missed MBB.’
Half of the point of the summer internship is trading up...
"Hey I got a return offer at S&" (read: I am pre-qualified but want to trade up)
Out of the people in my MBB full-time class that didn't intern at the firm, at least 1/4 of them did a consulting internship.
You can't go wrong. Strategy& would give you more exposure to what consulting would look like and would help you with your "why consulting" answer. Disney CSBD is one of the top corporate strategy roles. I would caution though that Disney CSBD is nearly all M&A work and not much strategy, so the experience might not translate, but your internship before full-time MBB doesn't need to be directly related to consulting.
