What did the interview consist of?
Group Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
OCR: initial process began in October 2012 with on-campus presentation. Networking and invite only events in my city (including dinner and drinks) through December. Office visit in NYC (open to all) in December. On campus interview in January. First round was 2 bankers. Call back that day for second round, which happened on campus that night. Second round was 2 different bankers, but similar format/tone. Offer call happened that night on my way home. I really liked the people and the firm. It's growing, though still is clearly an underdog in IB. People were really nice, though there were many internal promotes to Associate. Felt that entry to Associate at other firms was more selective. This might change in the future as the firm gains more footholds at top MBA programs.
