Analyst

My resume was passed along to HR by a faculty member at my university. I was called a few days later and they asked me to apply formally online for the position. About a week later I was emailed to schedule a phone interview. The first interview was a mix of behavioral and technical questions. I was asked what three things on my resume I would like them to focus on. I was also asked about what challenges I thought I might have in the position and how I would overcome them. I was then asked what the three main financial statements were, how they were related, and if only had one to evaluate a company's credit worthiness, which one would I use. It was a short 20 minute interview. Then about a week later I was contacted by the hiring manager to schedule another phone interview. This was a little less formal, but I was asked to walk me through the resume, what my favorite property type was, and what were the drivers of demand behind that property type. We talked about a couple of classes I had taken and then how the group was structured. I didn't hear back for about a week and half, so I followed up with them to see if they had made decisions and was then called by HR and was told they were moving on with other candidates.
