Background Check
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
They started with general chit-chat. Something about the good weather in Los Angeles. I responded with small talk. It was at least 15 minutes before they started to ask technical questions. I replied to the best of my knowledge but it was kind of scary since "they" consisted of 3 people all staring at me and waiting for my answers. So the psychologically aspect of the whole process was truly intimidating. Fortunately, the questions themselves are not so difficult by themselves and in my opinion were fairly vanilla such as: "list your strengths and weaknesses". The fun one that I remembered vividly was: "what do you read on a daily basis?" Since I read a lot, that was easy to cover and I gave a bit of rationale for each publication / blog / book / newspaper.
