Wealth Management Summer Intern

I applied for the internship via the career website of my University which let me drop my resume to be viewed by potential employers. I got a call around noon a week after I applied even though the application deadline had not passed. I was offered an on-site interview in two weeks which I promptly accepted. The assistant sent me an email immediately after describing the location of the office and the internship in question.

At the site I was greeted in by one of the Financial Advisers into his office. I was asked to tell him a little bit about myself. Then I was asked more job related question such as my coursework, ability to work in a team and interest in wealth management. Halfway through another one of his associates walked into the office and introduced himself before he started asking questions of his own. Since the second interviewer seemed to be in a rush he did not sit down, and so we all stood in the office for the remainder of the interview (approximately 5 minutes). I was later asked to follow up with a "Thank you email" and that my candidacy will be taken into consideration. As soon as I got back I sent a follow up email to which the interviewer responded positively. I got the decision two days later via email.
