Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied online. One of the first to call for a phone interview after the closing of applications of all IBs in Australia (as per the round table agreement). Phone interview consisted of a 30 minute chat with two associates - mainly general knowledge about equities/world economy/Australian housing market.
Invited by the end of the day to assessment centre/final round. AC consisted of a case study (40 min prep to come up with some strategic ideas for a fictitious bank, presented 1on1 with a director), group discussion (given an objective to work towards in a group setting, observed), two 1on1 interviews with MDs and numerical testing.
