Investment Banking Analyst

Initially there was an information session held at my University. After the company's pitch there was open time for questions as well as time to network. I used this opportunity to network as much as possible.

Campus recruitment is carried out through my schools department so I applied to the company through them and shortly after received an interview offer.

I had second tier grades, which was noted in the interview, but was told that they enjoyed meeting me during the information session and that is what lead to the interview offer.

The questions were not overly difficult but it was expected that you would be able to answer them quickly and concisely with no mistakes.

Everybody at the firm was very straight forward and honest and it was a pleasure interviewing with them.
