Equity Research Associate

Initially contacted by HR for the position, who had a brief conversation with me before passing my information on to another (senior) HR member. Scheduled an interview to come into the office to meet with senior HR, took an assessment (35 questions in 40 minutes), and then got a chance to meet with the analysts.

I met with two analysts for two different teams. Maybe it was just an off day, but I wasn't fond of the culture. Lots of new people, a little rude. Neither had taken any time to look over my resume, so both just asked questions on the spot. One about my resume -- very passive, looked miserable to be there. One just questions out of a hat (market sizing, brainteasers). So, it really depends on the analyst.
