Investment Banking Analyst

Initially applied through campus career website.
First round interview was on-campus with two VP's from different coverage groups.
Second round interview was a superday on a Thursday and Friday.
Thursday consisted of a tour or bank and trading floor, cocktails with analysts and management, and dinner with current analysts. Some interviewers attended the cocktail event, although none of mine did.
On Friday there was a breakfast at 7AM, then 7 consecutive 30 minute 1-on-1 interviews with Associates, VPs, MDs. Interviews were 75% behavioral 25% technical. Many follow-up questions regarding relevant school experiences. Some interviers followed a set of questions given to them, which they then recorded answers for. Fairly basic behavioral type questions. Technical questions were usually posed in response to my mentioning financial topics such as having experience with DCF modeling, or particular characteristics to look for in investments. Some macro-economic relationship questions regarding interest rates and types of news that could effect markets.
Most bankers seemed nice and seemed to enjoy the culture of the bank, although the culture was less laid-back than I had heard it would be.
