Investment Banking Analyst

Applied via OCR. First round interview was held at the campus career center with an associate from the local office. I have a good bit of technical experience (financial modeling, deals) so the interviewer seemed to believe I knew my technicals already and treated the rest of the interview like a conversation. Received a call 3 days later notifying me I was chosen for their superday at their headquarters in Little Rock. They flew me and another applicant out on their private jet (Very fast) to Stephens' office. Friday consisted of cocktails with senior bankers and a formal dinner with junior and senior level bankers. Saturday was superday where each person went through 6 interviews chosen at random. Process lasted from 8am-12pm with a casual lunch right after. Very straight forward superday questions. Stephens focuses a lot on fit, however I interview with a fair share of analysts that day who grilled me on technical questions. They really want bankers who they believe will mold well with the group they are placed in. In the end I was not chosen due to preferring a high demand office, but the whole process left a great taste in my mouth and an unforgettable and unique superday.
