Fall Financial Internship

I applied for the job and a day later was on the phone interviewing. The interviewing questions started out pretty standard; why you chose your major, described previous work experience, your future career plans, etc. They asked, but did not bother having me prove, if I knew some basic Excel functions and if I knew about general ledgers. I thought I interviewed really well, and it turned out that I didn't get asked back. Later I found out from an insider that I got denied because I was "too qualified" and that they only hire interns that they think would accept full time positions after graduation. What a bunch of political crap.
