What did the interview consist of?

Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Initially I was given a telephone interview with an array of questions from a member of the HR team. This comprised of mainly the standard behavioural 'fit' type questions and was much more a background check than a technical interview.
I then had an interview with members of the team at the office which is closer to the Tower of London, quite a distance away from any of the other banks I have had interview experience with. Again the vast majority of the interview was 'fit' based, but importantly the interview was desk specific and required me to have done initial research on the current industry trends (I probably overdid it with the research but better safe than sorry).
