Long-Term internship

I got called in April 12 for an interview for the Long-Term internship starting in September 12. HR puts a lot of time reading the applications and the essays are important. The first round started with a math test and an english test, which is pretty standard for M&A interviews in London. I then had an interview with 2 guys, one HR and one VP. Got the usual why m&a, why Rothschild, etc, and a market sizing question.
For the second round interview we had to prepare a 3 slide presentation about a recent deal and present it in front of 2 directors. It was pretty technical and they really went in depth on the why and the what of the deal. After the presentation I met with again two directors, and that part of the interview was only fit. The guys were very cool and easy going.
