Capital Markets Analyst

Was referred and subsequently completed a common-sense skills test. Proceeded to phone interview with HR. Lasted 30 minutes, was all fit, and the HR person was unenthusiastic from start to finish. Toughest question was explaining exactly why I wanted to work in the group I did - don't think the HR rep was satisfied by my response. I guess it was all for the best when I heard they were jettisoning their Equities unit a couple months later. Definitely prepared poorly - I thought it was going to be highly technical as I was from a non-target.
