Corporate and Institutional Banking Summer Analyst
General Interview Information
Interview Details
I received a phone call a few days later telling me that I had been invited to the Superdays (there was only 1 round of interviews before Superdays). The night before Superdays, PNC hosts a networking reception event where you get to meet some employees, which was great to learn more about what you would be doing an a summer analyst and perhaps even full time.
To prepare for the interview, I went over WSO guides/ Vault Guides, and prepped with some friends. Nothing too intense, but still put in a good 10-15 hours total. I also knew a few ppl who worked for the division that I applied for and talked to them again.
Superdays were still less intense than I expected them to be. I had 4 interviews throughout the day, each with 2 employees. One was usually an MD of the division I was applying for while the other was a young analyst just listening and taking notes. Expect the typical questions, but they focus a lot of personality/fit and go in depth on experiences in your resume and relating that to the position you're interested in.
Overall, everyone I met was very nice and I had an enjoyable experience.
