Interview Details
First part was doing a short case on the credit card industry. It really wasn't like a traditional case where there's a scenario and you're supposed to structure a solution - the interviewer basically just jumped into a question involving brainstorming ideas, then gave me some exhibits to look at to interpret them. There wasn't any background to it, just three scenarios that I was supposed to calculate to see which would be the best option using the limited information I had. Also did not have a chance to conclude the case, though we finished early. Wasn't sure how I really did because it was a list of questions like an interviewer-led case rather than a real case.
Second part was a fit interview and it was very informal. Was asked to walk through resume briefly, what I liked to do in free time, and questioned to elaborate on some experiences I had, and what I would have done differently in those situations, and what I would do if I had more time to work on those situations. There wasn't much structure to this either, and I was asked essentially to give a more detailed description of things I had on my resume. Nothing particularly hard but seemed like a casual chat.
Received a call later that day saying I did not pass first round. Both interviewers were very friendly throughout.
