Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had a phone interview with an HR person from Navigant's headquarters in Chicago and was asked basic background information and was I was applying. Then the next round was at the office in DC. It consisted of 3 consecutive 1 on 1 interviews each about 45 mins long. The personalities between my interviewers varied greatly so it was difficult adjusting conversations from interview to interview. The first interview I had was with a laid back guy who just gave me a run down of the office and the project that they were working on. The 2nd interview was with a very timid asain woman so I had to carry the whole conversation for 45 minutes. The 3rd interview was with a very uptight and strict woman who asked questions about my technical and writing skills. Also asked questions such as tell me about a time when you worked with a team and was asked to explain the 2008 financial crisis.
